What is NAPABA
The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) is a professional organization that represents the interests of Asian American and Pacific Islander attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. NAPABA also works to promote the professional development of its members and to advocate for equality and opportunity for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the legal profession. Founded in 1987, NAPABA has grown to become one of the largest minority bar associations in the United States. NAPABA works closely with other bar associations, law firms, corporate legal departments, and law schools to promote diversity in the legal profession and to ensure that Asian American and Pacific Islander attorneys have a seat at the table. In addition to its advocacy work, NAPABA also provides educational programming and networking opportunities for its members.
